In this project I took a song by artist Stromae called “Santé” that means cheers in French. The song represents celebrating individuals who are the everyday worker who are often mistreated by others and have to sacrifice the simple pleasures in life to make ends meet . It’s a moment to recognize they are humans worth celebrating. The art is original paintings of mine that I combined with graphic design elements. The bold type is to highlight the excitement one gives when saluting another individual. The heart is representative of the love we gives to those. On the album cover the the French verse “ À ceux qui n’en not pas” means “to those who don’t have any” - a key point made by Stromae in his music.
